Since 1994, PedalPGH has been the region's leading bicycle event (notice we didn't say "race.") In 2012 BikePGH is ramping things up to make this the largest bike ride in PA. Here's how we're doing it:

Better Weather - While no one can guarantee what Mother Nature will bring, moving the date to August 5th, we expect a warm, sun-filled ride.
New Routes - Experienced and new riders of all ages will now be able to enjoy the city like never before in a safe and encouraging atmosphere.
Festival Atmosphere - Kicking off BikeFest 2012 the Pedal PGH post-ride festival will be a "must do" event.

All of the funds raised will go towards creating safer streets for cyclists and pedestrians in Pittsburgh through BikePGH, the leading voice for bicycle advocacy in Pittsburgh.
